Chuck Northrop

Chuck Northrop was born in Pratt, KS and raised in Towanda, KS. He married to the former Jody Casebolt of Wichita, KS. Together, they raised four children: Shane, a school teacher in St. Charles, MO, Jeremy, a student at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN, Michelle Nelson, a student at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK, and Lisa, also student at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. They also have four grandchildren. Chuck obeyed the gospel in 1971 in Wichita, KS. In 1976, he graduated from the Preston Road School of Preaching in Dallas, TX under the direction of Eldred Stevens. Chuck has labored in local work with churches in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. He has preached in nineteen states and three foreign countries. He also served as an instructor of the Midwest School of Biblical Studies in Independence, MO, the Oklahoma School of Biblical Studies in Chandler, OK, and the Kiev School of Preaching in Kiev, Ukraine. More recently, he served as the director of the Kiev School of Preaching. Besides Ukraine, Chuck has also made mission trips into Latvia and Taiwan. Chuck is currently laboring for the church in Mayflower, AR Besides numerous bulletin articles, Chuck writes regularly for several brotherhood publications. He has also authored three books: "We Can Rest Assured!" a study of assurance in 1 John, "Biblically Speaking about the Church," eighty-eight short articles on the church of the Bible, and "So Great a Cloud of Witnesses," a study of the great faith chapter, Hebrews 11. |
