Ron Cosby

Ron Cosby has been a preacher of the gospel since 1971. A graduate of the Elk City School of Preaching, then directed by the late W. R. Craig, Ron has preached in churches of Christ in Ringling, Fort Cobb, Mustang, Cleveland, Owasso, Marietta, and Chelsea, all in the state of Oklahoma. In 1988 Ron and his wife, Sue, built and opened Cosby's Catfish Restaurant five miles east of Disney, Oklahoma on highway 28. Since then Ron began holding meetings for churches ordinarily unable to finance their own meetings. He is also engaged in lectureships, debates, and other meeting work. In the last year he and Sue sold their restaurant, and he has returned to full time located work. He is now the local evangelist with the Grant Street church in Liberal, Kansas. He serves as co-editor for Let Us Reason, and has written extensively for various Christian publications. Ron is married to the former Johnnie Sue Shive. They have three children and four grandchildren and one great grandson. |
