Gary G. Colley, Sr., born Vernon, TX, 1934, began preaching the Gospel in 1954. Family: Wife, Maggie, three children, six grandchildren, all of which are members of the Lord's church. Holds eight meetings per year and speaks on eight to ten lectureships per year. Has done radio, newspaper, and TV work on a regular basis. Has written for many brotherhood publications. Former staff writer for Firm Foundation, former Editor of the Christian Worker, Director of the Southwest Bible Lectures for 5 years. Has written books on "Down Front and Ready," "Lessons You Can Develop," "Bible Class Notes on the Ideal Home." Tracts on "New Translations - What is Wrong With Them?," "The Masonic Religion," and "Only In Thee." Has published his father's book, "Fundamentals of Christianity" which has been used in training many preachers. Has taught in preacher's school work for some thirty years in Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Presently preaching for the East End church of Christ in McMinnville, TN., and is presently teaching in Nashville School of Preaching. |
