H. Leo Boles, great-grandson of the famed restoration preacher "Raccoon John Smith" was one of the most influential men in the church in his day. He graduated from Buritt College in 1900, studied for years at the feet of David Lipscomb, and taught in the Nashville Bible School under Brother Lipscomb. Brother Boles went to be with the Lord on February 7, 1946, just two weeks short of his seventy-second birthday.
