Bible Riddle: November 2002
Three of us in the Bible you find, With bodies strong and brilliant mind. After we from our homeland came, Our captors gave each of us another name. Though the King's fine food we refused to eat, The King's great favor we were pleased to meet. Before an idol-god we refused to bow, Trusting God would deliver us somehow. Other men lost their lives in tragic fires, But our perseverance never ceases to inspire. The Lord stood by us in our need, And from our trial we were freed. Our story of bravery is often told, Now tell our names if you are bold. ( Answer Next Month ) Answer to October's Riddle — "the Tower of Babel" |
