Bible Riddle: July 2002
Three by this name in the Bible are seen; "Jehovah hath grasped," the name seems to mean. All three experienced a common thing For each one was the son of a king. Each of the three held a scepter in his hand, But they did not all rule the same land. Of one's seventeen-year reign the scriptures tell; His troubles were great for before idols he fell. The second was chosen over his brother; He reigned only months, no years as the other. The third by another name is better known; For only a year he occupied the throne. If you know the history of Israel and Judah too, The name of these kings should come to you. ( Answer Next Month ) Answer to June's Riddle—Isaiah |
