Bible Riddle: February 2002
In Palestine I abundantly grew; All who lived there about me knew. Both kings and paupers upon me fed; Much about me in the Bible is said. Some parts of me in the temple stood; I am described as both wild and good. My value to the land was of such fame That even a mountain wore my name. To this mountain came the Lord when he was distressed; From my fruit fine oil was pressed. I may even now in your home appear; My name to you should be quite clear.
