Bible Riddle: December 2002
My story is found in Bible lore, I commanded a hundred, less or more. One incident in my life in the Bible you find, I was the very first of my kind. While the people I ruled, most rulers would reject; For me the people had great respect. I was known for alms and works quite good, Many should pray as oft as I would. When my neighbors and kin to my house came, They heard of Christ and His precious name. That the word was preached to one not a Jew, Stirred the prejudice of quite a few.
