The churches of Christ salute you. — Romans 16:16

Five New Studies for Winter 2010 - 2011:

Unity In The Scheme Of Redemption
Our brother Kent Bailey writes of existing unity, the unity inherent in God's scheme of redemption: the gospel. The gospel's essence is the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Well annotated in Scriptures, he shows that "God's Scheme Of Redemption Refutes All Forms Of Error," "Produces A Righteous Fellowship," and "Produces Victories In Our Lives That We May Achieve." Christians faithful to the unity in God's Word enjoy the unity among fellow Christians that only comes from the willingness to obey that Word. Recommended for all readers!

Unity In Revelation
We do not need to wring our hands over the sad realization that there is not more unity in religion. The old saying that 'rather than curse the darkness, one should light a candle' is even true here, for the Holy Spirit has done just that with the Word of God which has been delivered to mankind: thus we need not curse the darkness. "Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalms 119:105). Kent Bailey has provided the soul who is seriously searching for unity, the scriptures showing that we have been provided unity in revelation. Here is a fine study on this subject.

Aimed At The Mind
Many have avowed 'I know it in my heart of hearts...' regarding some feeling contrary to the Scriptures. The Lord Himself declares that "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it (Jeremiah 17:9)?" Feelings and emotions often are not the response to facts, logic, and rational reasoning. Nathan Brewer briefly examines the honest response to the truths of the Word.

"Under Authority"
Jerry C. Brewer guides us in this study to see and learn the means by which "we today are as much under the authority of Christ and His inspired apostles as the church of the first century." This understanding is fundamental to all Bible study, and is therefore highly recommended to the serious student and faithful Christian.

God’s Demonstrations
The Supreme teacher and educator, our Lord, has left us examples, memorials, and other graphic forms of instruction to guide us into His truth. Jerry C. Brewer begins a series to survey several of these demonstrations from the Master.

GospelPreceptor.com Archives
Here you will find the six years of monthly volumes duplicating the paper edition content, from January 2002 to December 2007. Also the post paper-edition website articles from 2008 to present are resident in the archive as well.

The first six years provide 72 searchable monthly issues of over 1,200 pages, averaging 10 articles each. The last three years that transition from monthly to quarterly (which excludes 2 sabbatical quarters) provide 13 searchable issues of over 54 pages, averaging 4 articles each. All these are archived for your personal study and as an evangelism tool available continuously, with more articles being added quarterly by season.

Recommended: The Fulton County Gospel News As Your Monthly Gospel Newspaper
Unfinished Gospel Preceptor subscriptions were filled out with The Fulton County Gospel News, a fine gospel paper published monthly at Mammoth Springs, Arkansas and edited by brother Lee Moses. The Fulton County Gospel News website provides an archive of issues from September 2003 to present, and are in the process of posting early issues from January 1953! Lee Moses: "We also feature past articles, and articles not included in the print edition of FCGN." You will also find familiar Gospel Preceptor authors on this website.

God's Plan Of Salvation
Jesse Sewell cites scriptures revealing the only place where one is a new creature, free of condemnation, having redemption through the blood, the forgiveness of sins, enjoying all spiritual blessings, and where prayers will be heard and answered: Salvation Is Only In Christ.

A Library of More Than One-Hundred-Sixty-Seven Authors
Each author may be selected to find their list of articles with corresponding month of publication, and a direct link to each one. In the case of the Editor's File Drawer of Clippings, these are from different authors, some anonymous, unnamed, or unknown; some are from decades past, others are quite recent.
