The churches of Christ salute you. — Romans 16:16

One New Study and a Book Release for Spring 2010:

Traces of the Kingdom — The Book
Keith Sisman of Cambridge England has released the first edition book "Traces of the Kingdom." Brother Sisman documents evidence showing "For nearly a thousand years, churches of Christ have been meeting in England, possibly longer and certainly longer in Europe."

Editor Jerry C. Brewer: "This book will be a valuable addition to anyone's library and to the historical information relating to churches of Christ. In histories of the church I have studied, the primary emphasis is given to the Roman Catholics and Protestant denominations. It is my belief that congregations of the Lord's church have always existed in all ages of men since Pentecost and this book sheds light on some of those which predate the Restoration Movement in North America."

We have been blessed with overwhelming Christian evidences in this life, testimony in confirmation of the Word of God. So Daniel interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar's dream: "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure" (Daniel 2:44-45). The church that stands for ever did not disappear for any period following its establishment on the Day of Pentecost!

"Attracted To Jesus If You Can Get Past Christianity"
Marvin L. Weir: "The title of this article is a sad commentary on all the people who profess to be religious while steadfastly refusing to submit to the authority of Christ. Long ago the chief priests and elders were looking for the Messiah but rejected Him and His authority when He came." A timely and sobering assessment, that Christians may be admonished and stay informed.

Christianity Is Not Denominational ( reprise )
James asked "Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter (James 3:11)?" Jesse P. Sewell notes "We do not see several sheep-folds with as many different doors. The Bible shows us only one sheep-fold with only one door and all of Christ's called out entering in through that one door."
