The Characteristics of the Gospel
A Member Of The Certified Church: P. D. Wilmeth traces those characteristics of the Gospel to the "Certified" Church. Yes, but certified by whom? The apostle Paul admonished "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ (Galatians 1:6-7). Friends, let's study the Bible together. Why the Church is Important The privileges belong to the members of the household. Gayle Oler explains why we must not expect to receive the family's privileges and blessings if we are not members of that family... We Should be Willing to Change F. B. Srygley reminds us that repentance is a change of mind: "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3). The basis of change: A short moment of meditation. "Handling Aright The Word Of Truth" Marvin L. Weir delivers a powerful sermon on this primary topic, a study rife with scriptural reference! Handle with care, student and disciple. The attitude of God is expressed in His Word. Jesus has become "the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Hebrews 5:9). Allow plenty of time to glean the full spiritual nourishment that Brother Weir brings to us. Recommended! Does God Authorize Women Preachers? Jess Whitlock: "When one reflects upon the subject of apostasy among the Lord's people, hasn't it always been accomplished in a gradual manner, slowly, a little bit at a time? Whenever a new false doctrine has been admitted into a congregation hasn't it been introduced little by little?" So begins this Biblical study, following a recitation of examples of recent decades' apostasy practiced in formerly faithful bodies of the Lord's church. The subject aberration deviates from God's plan, established at the time of His Creation. |

The Role of Women in God's Chain of Authority
