Ron Cosby brings a short catalog of blasphemers for our study. The chief of sinners, a thief, and others give vent to their spiritual confusions. One can even see areas where we might ourselves have crossed the line, but our Lord delights in mercy and forgiveness toward the penitent believer. Saul Of Tarsus Obeyed The Gospel E. M. Borden presents the prime directive, the one thing that we must all do before we all must join the silent city of the dead... our mortal remains, that is. Brief reflection, and recommended. Earnestly Contending For The Faith We are living amidst a non-confrontational society. Awash in manifold abominations, where one is pressured to abide in silence, political 'correctness' enforces a false and hypocritical tolerance. But the Lord has said for us go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15-16). B. L. Douthitt makes an urgent appeal for every Christian to do this and to do it with passion! Requisites Of Acceptable Worship Do you worship in spirit — "(i.e., proceeding from a sincere heart and rendered with attention and understanding)?" H. Leo Boles' concentrated study of those things required in worship, to be pleasing and accepted of the Lord, are of great import to everyone who would desire to server and see God. A closed mind will not profit from these scripturally cited admonitions. Highly recommended for ALL! "Here's The Problem With Faith" Jerry C. Brewer responds to the refutation website — snopes.com — on the subject flaw. He reduces their deposition to their own 'belief' that faith is just wishful thinking. Brewer dismantles the objections with citations from scriptures, jurisprudence, and the rules of logic. "Therefore, Choose Life" Robin W. Haley repeats a timeless appeal. Logic demands this. Self-preservation naturally should seek this. Conditional: that's where each soul finds himself in his response, to decide whether he will accept and obey the conditions necessary to make this supreme choice. A brief read; take the time... |
