Simple New Testament Worship
Landry Brewer brings forward the elegant simplicity of Biblical worship, with examples of rejected worship and accepted worship. Jesus gave the principles to the woman at the well. The Uniquess Of Jesus: His Resurrection "Jesus is not the only one to be raised from the dead, nor is He the first. However, four truths set His resurrection apart from all others..." begins Ron Cosby's contemplation of the basis of our eternal hope. Seven scriptural references are provided. The Forgotten Command "America: Lookin' Good" launches this comprehensive Bible study by Roelf L. Ruffner. Like the lovely produce found at the grocery, which has poor flavor and nutrition, the days of our sojourn are too often filled with the pursuit of worldly acceptance and acclaim. Into this trap goes the one whose attire immodestly mirrors the world around us. The Need For Bible Fathers Having outlined the need for Bible mothers last month, C. D. Plum discusses another pillar upon which the blessed home rests: the father. The first and most necessary pillar is the Creator of the home, the Lord. The Bible's Author Is God, No. 3 Its Superiority; and Its Faithful Witness, who received corroboration by contemporaneous historians. On The Holiness Of God

Obedient Faith
The type of faith that saves is concisely and Biblically described by Landry Brewer. But many have considered obedience to be a work of merit, thus rejected by grace; "only believe" they have said. Yet Jesus explained belief (i.e., faith) to be a work: "Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." (John 6:28-29).
